Robotics Captain · Full-Stack Dev · Maker
Dallas, TX · Class of 2025
Hi! I'm Hudson Tinch, a robotics enthusiast and maker. As captain of the HP robotics team, I combine hands-on building with advanced technology.
I have a deep enthusiasm for 3D printing, electronics, and building things that actually work.
Web-based control panel on an Arduino R4 WiFi board. Remotely controls multiple servos and electromagnets over WiFi. No extra apps needed, pure browser UI.
Led development of an autonomous drone for the Bell Advanced Vertical Robotics National Competition. Used A* pathfinding to navigate complex environments. Placed 4th nationally, and 2nd in the country for technical presentation.
Fully functional 3D-printed Iron Man helmet. Moving parts, magnetic faceplate, embedded electronics. Combines engineering precision with creative ambition.
